Cleveland Support Julius Bell at his Sentencing

Support Julius Bell at his Sentencing Come to the Justice Center this Thursday

Come to courtroom 16A this Thursday the 21st at 1:30pm to show support for Julius Bell who is being sentenced on a felony for his participation in the protest against the the cop Brelo being found not guilty for killing Melissa Williams and Timothy Russell. Julius was one of many Black youth who joined the protest. This was a beautiful sight to all those fighting police terror, but for the city authorities it was intolerable.

They arrested 71 people and went after Julius with an exceptional vindictiveness, putting very severe felony charges on him. Julius accepted a deal that lowered the charges and promised no jail time. Only after the deal was accepted did the prosecution inform Julius' attorney that a witness will be brought to testify against him at his sentencing.

This is as outrageous as it is deceitful. It is an expression of just how much they fear those they brutalize standing up and resisting their terror. We must pack the courtroom in a show of support for Julius and not allow the court to demonize this young man who did exactly what millions of others need to do, fight to stop police murder..
